Despite the Communist Party of the Philippines’ stubborn posturing that all is well within the movement, a new group has recently severed its ties with the communist group led by its chairman in absentia, Jose Maria Sison. This was admitted by a group that calls itself as the Communalist Proletariat Party-Nationalist Patriotic Army-National Diagraphic Fundamentalist and which uses the same abbreviation as that of Joma’s CPP-NPA-NDF.
In an official statement given to media groups and to emphasize their difference to the bandits who are calling themselves rebels in the country, the general command of the breakaway group has categorically condemned the permit-to-campaign and other relative money-making scheme that are currently being enforced by the New Peoples’ Army in various parts of the country. The group also called this extortion policy as Joma Sison’s commercial instrument which it claims only destroys the good side of the election as it has recognized even the constitutional rights of that of a member of the New Peoples’ Army.
Aside from condemning the PTC of Joma’s cohorts, the general command also made mention of the permit-to-win or PTW – an extortion scheme that the Communist Party of the Philippines feigned not to know about – as a mere criminal act institutionalized by the underground movement to obtain the Party leaders’ own personal interests and to gain additional monetary and material resources as well as control among local residents of a certain area.
Lastly, the breakaway group also tagged the Joma’s forged alliances – made possible by the MAKABAYAN coalition - with local politicians as an attempt to position even corrupt leaders in the government as long as they have obtained the nod of the CPP/NPA/NDF. Further, the new group also labeled the CPP/NPA/NDF as mere “dealers” who intend to deceptively intrude in the country’s governance and therefore should be avoided by all democratic-loving citizens of the Philippines.

NPA strikes Quezon twice
In keeping with the Yuletide celebrations, the government and the rebels declared a ceasefire from December 24-26, 2009 and from December 31, 2009 to January 1, 2010. Despite the said truce, the province of Quezon once again drew public attention when a band of Communist New People’s Army (NPA) rebels heartlessly burned eight classrooms in Doongan National High School on the early dawn of December 26 turning to ashes an estimated 3.5 Million worth of properties. The rebels even hoisted an inverted Philippine flag at the school’s flagpole before leaving the area haughtily showing their disgrace for our democratic system.
Prior to the above incident, a band of NPA rebels raided a police station in San Narciso town, Quezon, and carted away five(5) M-16 rifles, four(4) shotguns, four(4) 9-millimeter pistols, a .38-caliber Revolver, ammunition, as well as the wallets of those in the station. Visibly, the rebels are again at it on showing-off power to intimidate the locals of Quezon, the NPA’s usual way of garnering votes for the nearing elections. As the Communists consider the democratic ways such as the elections, they do not abandon the armed way of “fighting for democracy” thus, the continuous conduct of ruthless acts like the ones in Quezon.
Aren’t we tired of hearing stories of political warlords like the Ampatuans who made use of private armed groups in driving the people to follow their demands or those who forced their way to victory like Rep. Satur Ocampo who used the NPA to induce fear in the people and manipulate their votes?
Furthermore, the Communist Party of the Philippines is at the height of celebrating its 41st founding anniversary when this incident took place. What do these rebels expect the Filipino people to think after torching a school just to celebrate its founding day? No casualties were reported and only the burnt building is the evidence of the rebels’ cold-blooded atrocity. Indeed, schools can be rebuilt; incidents like this will fade when another Headline story comes out; but what do we do about the trauma the school children of Doongan National High School will face after this? What do we do about the mere deprivation for learning and the act’s subliminal message of promoting illiteracy? And what do we do about the rebels and all those who are incessantly abusing the helpless people for their own gain? Until these all-powerful acting rebels are fully extinguished, it is certain that more and more lives and dreams of innocent civilians will be put to ashes. The NPA claims that they are an organization for establishing the people's democratic government. Clearly, this is not the democracy we need.

NPA’s PRE-MEDITATED EXTORT SCHEME FOR MAKABAYAN
Shortly after Jose Maria Sison’s all-out support to the so-called newbie Political Party by 2010- Mamamayang Koalisyon ng Makabayan (MAKABAYAN), his co-founded Communist Party of Philippines readily guaranteed a total of one billion pesos to pump-up its fund machinery. Interestingly, in a month’s time, NPA”s protection rackets against local industrial firms in the provinces had also skyrocketed. Last Saturday (August 30), DOLE-Stanfilco’s hired ten-wheeled trucks were burned in Alamada by around forty heavily armed Communist insurgents under its Southern Mindanao Regional Committee (SMRC). The incident occurred periodical just as the management continually refuse to pay-up Reds’ forced revolutionary tax. As expected this was also coupled with the random harassments of Globe Telecom Cellsites around the Bicol region and mining firms across Negros Occidental.
Schematically, the NPAs are trying to shift their resource build-up and recruitment for MAKABAYAN’s campaign drives. Other than the one billion pesos, that had been causing stirs amongst the CPP-NPA hierarchy particularly between the opposing camps of Sison and Benito Tiamzon, a fail-safe ratio of voters are also funneled-down by the Communist army to MAKABAYAN senatoriables. Obviously, these would also include gun-pointing and vote-selling within Reds’ threatened localities nationwide.
Other than condemning the act, Sison prided himself of the heinous act and even asserted that it was the people’s mandate. That is, as how he defended the NPA’s continued offensives.
Fueling MAKABAYAN’s senatoriables that in return cost indiscriminate violence is what Sison proposes. The armed militia is doing all the dirty works for Sison. And sadly, they have been doing this while they continually starve after having been listed last on the CPP’s priorities. So far, the Davao area based Reds had been suffering depleting recruits out of starvation. That is, despite their contributions to the CPP-NPA’s heightened extortion schemes. Even the Bicol Regional Party Committee (BRPC), which had been heading the militia army in Region 5, was also losing its armed strength due to exhausting logistics. All thanks to MAKABAYAN political ambitions, the CPP is drained from the inside. Mutineers, just like the rejectionist faction led by Romulo Kintanar before, are again an inevitable menace that would be crippling Sison’s Maoist armies.
Is this what MAKABAYAN’s patriotic banner is all about? That they feed on insurgents to win seats for 2010? Or else, is this all part of the Communist Party’s move to gain grounds on mainstream politics using their moles in the likes of Satur Ocampo? Besides, this scenario runs parallel to Sison’s former declarations of having their primary Maoist strategy complemented with their far non-violent moves in the legal arena. Which undeniably, is the main reason why until now the left-leaning MAKABAYAN had not denounced NPA’s atrocious initiatives nationwide despite their willingness to participate this coming election? Democratic processes incessantly abused by the CPP-NPA-NDF. Unfortunately, instead of hammering them down, our government is bending all laws possible to amicably settle the decades-long dispute. Extorts will continue to prevail and it is deemed to rise. MAKABAYAN will get richer enough to assure them wins for 2010. CPP would live-on and its harassments will balloon. The Filipino people are the ones on the losing end.

JASIG REINSTATED BUT NPA OFFENSIVES HEIGHTENED " WHO LACKS INTEREST TO TALK?'
Communist Party of the Philippines Chair-in-absentia, Jose Maria Sison recently made burly annotations against the resumption of talks with the Gloria administration. That is, even with the reinstatement of the Joint Agreement on Safety and Immunity Guarantees or (JASIG) last July 17th that includes the release of high-ranking NPA who walked free from their separate murder charges. Particularly, this include Randall Echaniz, who was branded one of the NDF’s Peace talk Consultants right after he was detained for (15) counts of murder, illegal possession of firearms and explosives and Writ of Amparo under RTCs across Manila, Basey and Hilongos, Leyte. Echaniz’s release was shortly followed by Elizabeth Principe, who also faces charges of multiple murder and armed robber in Cuayan, Isabela RTCs. These criminals are out no bail or legal concession needed. Government had once again bended its laws for state insurgents.
JASIG reinstatement was among the bargaining agreements raised by the CPP-NPA-NDF to pull their forces back on the negotiating table. This is a must to invite high ranking Reds to settle for non-offensive resolve as claimed by the Communist hierarchy but it had not been the case since the late 1990s. Since the inception of talks between the GRP and the NDFP there had been nothing less than riddling offenses made by the JOMA minions. In 2001, talks went into a three-year impasse as the Reds admitted to the killing of Congressman Rodolfo Aguinaldo in Tuguegarao City. However, in 2004 and 2008, the Communist Party backed-down on its peaceful recourse as they had been included in the U.S list of global terrorist threats. These summed-up to a total of four back-throwing attempts of the CPP against the seated administration. Most of which blew out into a wide scale tactical offensive that bore civilian casualties.
By the looks of it, the CPP has been the one denying themselves of passive reforms. They subject themselves to open talks while continuing to arm their militias across the provinces that “open-fire” on government troops. In fact, in one document enclosing the message of JOMA Sison on CPP-supported organizations, he was directly stating that reform could only be achieved with armed assaults against the instituted Republic.
To quote JOMA insisted the following - “Relative to the revolutionary objective of making a fundamental transformation of current Philippine society, the main form of struggle is armed revolution. But this form of struggle can be stronger and much more effective when complemented and reinforced by legal forms of struggle. The armed and legal forms of struggle are interactive and help each other in the advance of the revolutionary movement”.
No wonder the CPP continues to castigate the government for the suspension of talks while they on one hand negate from ceasefire and bent on conducting indiscriminate wrestle against the AFP.
Who then is disinterested with the peace talks? JASIG had been prematurely implemented by the government to create a far conducive arena for the CPP to start the channel of non-violent conciliation. But has this stopped their offensives, when only a month after, another army vehicle passing along pres. Roxas Cotabato was hit by one of its implanted landmines? Who is JOMA kidding when he asserted in Tribune that the fluidity of talks between the Communist army and the government had to be blamed on Gloria’s affairs? When the facts on hand will lead the public to ascertain that the CPP is the one unfit to put substance on their agreements. They are clearly putting-up a ploy for the advancement of their cause that had been no less than pursuing an all-out-war veiled under its lawful tricks.

PEACE TALKS TO COST A LEG AND AN ARM
The cat is finally out of the bag. The National Democratic Front which fronts as the negotiator for the Communist Party of the Philippines in an on again-off again peace talk with the government is a narcissistic organization. First, they demanded the reinstatement of the Joint Agreement on Safety and Immunity Guarantees (JASIG) which the government subsequently acquiesced to and granted on July 17. In response to this, the armed unit of the CPP, the New People’s Army, attacked an Isuzu Canter truck in Toboso, Negros Occidental promptly killing three young civilians and wounding several others. Second, they demanded the unconditional release from jail of twelve incarcerated so-called NDF consultants who were all facing criminal charges and which the government satisfied by granting freedom to first Elizabeth Principe on July 21 and later to Randall Echaniz. And now, they are demanding an investigation on the alleged disappearance of 13 rebel consultants as a confidence-building measure from the government.
Ordinary observers would even agree that recent developments into the hanging peace talks are all to the CPP’s advantage, what with its leadership doing all the demanding and the government doing all the giving all in the name of this so-called confidence building measures. Despite granting the CPP’s wishes, it was recently discovered that there have been no letup in NPA-initiated atrocities in various parts of the country since the JASIG was lifted. Just recently, a 40-strong NPA group burned two trucks owned and used by DOLE-Stanfilco in hauling bananas in Sitio Surigaonon in Barangay Camanlangan in Tagum City while another group composed of 50 rebels attacked a CAFGU camp in Barangay Cancaiyas in Catbalogan City, mortally wounding a civilian in the process.
Aside from these attacks, the NPAs have also consistently killed civilians for no apparent reason. Their most recent victim include a President of the Barangay Defense System, Dominasio Abrera, of Barangay Cumadcad in Castilla, Sorsogon who was killed on August 29, 2009.
The peace talks should not be all for the taking of the CPP. They, too, should give something in return. They too should show some level of sincerity and effort in calling for the resumption of peace negotiations with the government. They have already demanded and were given a lot and now it should be the government’s turn to ask.

1.Pagtatasa sa nakaraang mga election 2007 elxn
2.Basa sa 2010 elexn
3.PDC
4.Pakikitungo sa mga kandidato
5.Detalye
a)Organization
b)Founding Convention
c)National Candidate
Basic alliance, alliance to ilet, splitting the enemy, the broadest point of narrowest target.
OVER ISTIMATION NG PWERSA.
Kiss of death
i)2007: 3/2/2/1 target. 2.3M.
A)Hard won victory: mayorya ay sweep votes, organized votes, alliance votes
B)Ikalawa assessment point: campaign isyu
Roxas – Noynoy
Erap – Jobama
Ping – (Jamby)
Loren (plactuated) – Chiz/ Teodoro
Etc: Villanueva, Gordon & BF
BM
AP
GWP
KABATAAN
GE
ACT
Basis of unity: ND program
TANONG:
Argument is in the name of social justice and political.
b)Sino pwedeng sumali sa PDC?
POLITICAL/SECTORAL/LOCAL PARTIES
PERSONAGES
Note: Di kasama a ang mga BMO’s.
Dealing w/ presidential:
Non open/ no endorsement
Guest candidates
SO
LM
RM
TC
TANADA
D. LIM
JDV/JDV III
SERGE
Consideration to deal w/ or criteria: pinakamalapot na ang critical support sa kandidato sa pagka-persidente.
Principles/platforms (patriotic and democratic)
Post election position (cabinet post)
Winability
Slate (national at local)
May tsimis kay Jamby (from ST).
SA ORGANIZATION: (please refer to hard copy documents)
1.Membership
2.Pagtatayo ng PDC:
3.National leading bodies
Note: need to consider: di lang sweep dapat ang rationale nito…
I-TEACHER may sweep (cocopea)
2.GE: May sariling sectoral votes na pagkukunan.
TANONG:
NOTE:
Kung in terms of machinery, may delineation ang bawat PL’s dito.
Nagkakaroon sila ng contribution sa kampanyang masa (year long).
IV.MOVEMENT FOR CHANGE: (Please refer to concept paper)
TANONG:
CORDI: Inaalyado ba natin si Mayor Jessie Robredo? (issue base natin inaalyado).
NT: May kilala ba tayong potential na pwedeng patakbuhin under PDC?
a)CALABARZON AREA:
May isang nanalong konsyal sa lean-Batangas under partido lakas (Carlito Caisip), #9 beth Holgado (natalo –partido lakas).
Mayor, vice, vice gob at gob ay wala.
2004 may isang pintakbo sa Bokal (talo #3 sa hui), Vic Mendoza (vice Gob – natalo). May sariling network at may sariling resources.
Sa pwedeng patakbuhin uli sa PDC:
Kagawad: Carlito Caisip + isa pa sa Lean, Beth Delgado sa Lemery, Calamba – Delfin De Claro.
Bokal: Vic Mendoza (batangas).
MGA NAKAUSAP AT IBA PANG POLITICO SA ERYA:
GOBERNOR: Laguna (ER ejercito, Lazaro at Joey lina). Quezon (Nantes, Enverga at Suarez). Rizal (mayor-Mon Ilagan).
b)MIMAROPA AREA:
Mindoro (lusaw ang makinarya sa erya)
Palawan (may pwedeng i-debelop sa open mass movement).
Romblon (may magandang prospect)
3.NCR:
a)NATALAKAY NA ANG MEMO.
c)May ilang pwedeng patakbuhin under PDC (QC: Totoy – Brgy. Captain ng Libis at Dr. ED, si Jerry Gamis # 7 last election), Manila (Doy – brgy. Captain ng sampaloc). Marikina (Joy), Caloocan (ala pa).
Atty. Ramon Te (nakalusot noong nakaraan – staff nya akbayan).
Mayor: QC (Joy Belmonte at Bistek, Matt Defensor).

a)PAMPANGA:
Gerona vice mayor (alyado)
c)PANGASINAN:
Bokal ang mga alyado at mga mayor
Nanie Braganza (Alaminos)
d)BULACAN:
Rene Balmecantos (natalo dati by 6K votes), Domeng Marcos (vice mayor ng Paombong)
e)BATAAN:
Abet Roman, nakakausap. Dating Cong. Tet Garcia, nakakausap din.
f)AURORA:
Ruben Dela Cruz (dating pinatakbo sa PnB).
g)NE:
5.ICR AREA:
a)ILOCOS/CORDILLERA:
b)LA UNION:
Mga warlords politico (Dumpit at Ortega)
c)MAKINARYA SA GE at ACT
Kaya ba natin ang over stretch ng
6.CV:
b)CAGAYAN:
2nd District: Vargas vs Layos (natalo sinuportahan natin).
c)NUEVA VISCAYA:
Tatakbo si
d)QUIRINO:
Sinuportahan natin anak, pero natalo.
3)Sa PDC
a)Mamba (LP), Grace Padaca (GOB)
4)ACT at GE (ala probinsyal chapter).
VI.FOUNDING CONFERENCE:
NEED NA MAGTUKOY NA ANG MGA REGION NG POINT PERSON PARA SA MGA GAGANAPING PRE-CONVENTION at CONVENTION sa March 2009.

i)2007: 3/2/2/1 target. 2.3M.
A)Hard won victory: mayorya ay sweep votes, organized votes, alliance votes
B)Ikalawa assessment point: campaign isyu
Roxas – Noynoy
Erap – Jobama
Ping – (Jamby)
Loren (plactuated) – Chiz/ Teodoro
Etc: Villanueva, Gordon & BF
BM
AP
GWP
KABATAAN
GE
ACT
Basis of unity: ND program
TANONG:
Argument is in the name of social justice and political.
b)Sino pwedeng sumali sa PDC?
POLITICAL/SECTORAL/LOCAL PARTIES
PERSONAGES
Note: Di kasama a ang mga BMO’s.
Dealing w/ presidential:
Non open/ no endorsement
Guest candidates
SO
LM
RM
TC
TANADA
D. LIM
JDV/JDV III
SERGE
Consideration to deal w/ or criteria: pinakamalapot na ang critical support sa kandidato sa pagka-persidente.
Principles/platforms (patriotic and democratic)
Post election position (cabinet post)
Winability
Slate (national at local)
May tsimis kay Jamby (from ST).
SA ORGANIZATION: (please refer to hard copy documents)
1.Membership
2.Pagtatayo ng PDC:
3.National leading bodies
Note: need to consider: di lang sweep dapat ang rationale nito…
I-TEACHER may sweep (cocopea)
2.GE: May sariling sectoral votes na pagkukunan.
TANONG:
NOTE:
Kung in terms of machinery, may delineation ang bawat PL’s dito.
Nagkakaroon sila ng contribution sa kampanyang masa (year long).
IV.MOVEMENT FOR CHANGE: (Please refer to concept paper)
TANONG:
CORDI: Inaalyado ba natin si Mayor Jessie Robredo? (issue base natin inaalyado).
NT: May kilala ba tayong potential na pwedeng patakbuhin under PDC?
a)CALABARZON AREA:
May isang nanalong konsyal sa lean-Batangas under partido lakas (Carlito Caisip), #9 beth Holgado (natalo –partido lakas).
Mayor, vice, vice gob at gob ay wala.
2004 may isang pintakbo sa Bokal (talo #3 sa hui), Vic Mendoza (vice Gob – natalo). May sariling network at may sariling resources.
Sa pwedeng patakbuhin uli sa PDC:
Kagawad: Carlito Caisip + isa pa sa Lean, Beth Delgado sa Lemery, Calamba – Delfin De Claro.
Bokal: Vic Mendoza (batangas).
MGA NAKAUSAP AT IBA PANG POLITICO SA ERYA:
GOBERNOR: Laguna (ER ejercito, Lazaro at Joey lina). Quezon (Nantes, Enverga at Suarez). Rizal (mayor-Mon Ilagan).
b)MIMAROPA AREA:
Mindoro (lusaw ang makinarya sa erya)
Palawan (may pwedeng i-debelop sa open mass movement).
Romblon (may magandang prospect)
3.NCR:
a)NATALAKAY NA ANG MEMO.
c)May ilang pwedeng patakbuhin under PDC (QC: Totoy – Brgy. Captain ng Libis at Dr. ED, si Jerry Gamis # 7 last election), Manila (Doy – brgy. Captain ng sampaloc). Marikina (Joy), Caloocan (ala pa).
Atty. Ramon Te (nakalusot noong nakaraan – staff nya akbayan).
Mayor: QC (Joy Belmonte at Bistek, Matt Defensor).

a)PAMPANGA:
Gerona vice mayor (alyado)
c)PANGASINAN:
Bokal ang mga alyado at mga mayor
Nanie Braganza (Alaminos)
d)BULACAN:
Rene Balmecantos (natalo dati by 6K votes), Domeng Marcos (vice mayor ng Paombong)
e)BATAAN:
Abet Roman, nakakausap. Dating Cong. Tet Garcia, nakakausap din.
f)AURORA:
Ruben Dela Cruz (dating pinatakbo sa PnB).
g)NE:
5.ICR AREA:
a)ILOCOS/CORDILLERA:
b)LA UNION:
Mga warlords politico (Dumpit at Ortega)
c)MAKINARYA SA GE at ACT
Kaya ba natin ang over stretch ng
6.CV:
b)CAGAYAN:
2nd District: Vargas vs Layos (natalo sinuportahan natin).
c)NUEVA VISCAYA:
Tatakbo si
d)QUIRINO:
Sinuportahan natin anak, pero natalo.
3)Sa PDC

MINDANAO TRIBAL LEADERS BEING MAN-HUNTED BY NPA'S
For this month alone, a total of 15 civilians have fallen prey to the claws of local members of New People’s Army in Mindanao. These attacks which were mainly instigated against known tribal leaders in the provinces of Compostela Valley, Davao del Norte, Agusan del Sur and Davao del Sur was now being categorically denounced by members of the Davao-based Mindanao Indigenous Peoples Conference for Peace and Development or MIPCPD which had only conducted an IP Summit on Human Rights Violations perpetrated by NPA elements in Mindanao last year in Davao City. Victims of the NPAs’ most recent killing spree include:
a.Mandaya Tribe leader Datu Florillo “Liling” Andersan who was ambushed and peppered with bullets while already bleeding to death on the ground by five armed rebels in Brgy Salvacion, Monkayo, ComVal Province on July 7;
b.Tribal leader Datu Dado Piag who was publicly killed inside a billiard hall at Brgy Pasian, Monkayo without any provocation on July 9;
c.Tribal leaders Datu Luzmindo Behing and Datu Gonzalo Quillano who were ambushed by rebels on July 20 in Poblacion Sibagat in Agusan del Norte with the former succumbing to death and Quillano still in critical condition at the MJ Hospital in Butuan City;
d.Tribal Chieftain Feliciano “Datu Oloy” Ador who was strafed with bullets by motorcycle-riding men at Brgy Cabaywa, Poblacion Asuncion in Davao del Norte on July 20;
e.Tribal leader and former Barangay Chairman Datu Canuto Lumbayon together with four other companions were ambushed by more than 20 fully armed rebels at Sitio Pamagtingon, Brgy Salaysay, Marilog District, Davao City on July 24. Datu Lumbayon together with two other civilians were killed while another is still fighting for his life at the Davao Medical Center;
f.Tribal leader and also La Paz Municipal Administrator Datu Lauro Mordeno together with five others were attacked by fully armed rebels at Crossing Mabuya, Km 6, La Paz. Two of the tribal leader’s companions were critically wounded during said ambuscade.
During the summit which was held December 2008, one of the NPA’s most recent victims, Datu Florillo “Liling” Andersan of the Mandaya Tribe was even heard commenting against the rebels’ exploitation of the Mindanao tribes’ poverty and fear of the armed group to recruit members, most of whom according to Liling were still minors. Because of these recent atrocities, leaders from the different tribes in Mindanao are now waiting for human rights groups particularly Karapatan to condemn to the fullest degree the cruelty of local NPA rebels who carried out said extrajudicial killings in Mindanao.
The leaders are afraid that these recent attacks perpetrated by the local NPAs would be a repeat of the Sarano Massacre which happened on June 25, 1989 in Davao del Sur where a church in Binato in Sarano was attacked by NPA rebels, killing a total of 38 Lumads in one strike.

NPA’s Hand on Melissa Roxas Abduction
New People’s Army (NPA) - Central Luzon Regional Committee (CLRC) admitted hand on the abduction of Fil-American human rights activist Melissa Roxas last May 19th in La Paz, Tarlac. The said guerilla front disclosed that Roxas’ abduction was pre-orchestrated and carried-out by said Communist faction with the “blessings” of BAYAN-USA and BAYAN-Tarlac. The act was to stimulate public outburst on supposed political crimes in the country, which would then be exploited by CPP-NPA endorsed 2010 senatoriables namely; Satur Ocampo and Teddy Casiño.
Faked Abduction
At around 10:00 in the evening of May 18th, Roxas was met by identified NPA combatants - Juanito Carabeo and John Edward Jandoc. Presumably, the two posed as civilian volunteers that were affiliated with BAYAN-Tarlac to coordinate Roxas’ stay in said province. In fact, Carabeo participated in the harassment of Orani Town Hall in Bataan last 2004; to which he incurred three standing warrants of arrest issued under CC Nr 11125 for murder by Judge Manuel Tan of RTC Br-2 dated (Feb. 01, 2008); CC Nr 11137 for rebellion/insurrection by Judge Manuel Tan of RTC Br-2 dtd (Feb. 18, 2008); and, CC Nr 11149 for rebellion/insurrection (Feb 15, 2008).
On the other hand, John Edward Jandoc was also an active Communist cadre under CLRC, whose identified parents were NPA leaders-Ana and Hilario Guio (Finance Officer of NPA Bataan). As divulged by Roxas, the two that served as her companions in said “BAYAN-sponsored trip was also taken on the eve of May 19th but was “suspiciously released the next day while she was still held in custody.
CLRC sources further unveiled that Roxas knew she would be abducted. The whole torture scheme was made-up scenario she memorized to get an audience. In fact, her earlier description of her abductors wearing camouflage was a “pushing” and deliberate sentiment that directly implicates the AFP on the fabricated incident. Even her “climactic” release, morning of May 25th, was just in time to be celebrated by around 150 newly-mobilized KARAPATAN members lobbying in front of the 7th Infantry Division.
Roxas’ Dubious Exit despite Filed Case
The quick run-off of Roxas back in the US without apparent reason that trashed two other SC hearings of her complaint was still left on murky water. Even Bayan Muna failed to explain Roxas’ wavering resolve on pursuing the case despite her internationally-highlighted outcry. If Roxas was for the uncovering of facts behind her abduction and not to simply drag the incident on the foreign arena, she would have decided to stay and look after the progress of her case.
Roxas and company were not for the truth. They are, by the looks of their actions on route to a staged “public stunt”. Trailing the judicial process was never part of their plan, which is why Roxas’ dubious “exit and entry” showed her inexplicable disinterest to the case.

REAL DEAL INSIDE 2009 NPA DEFECTION
Rift Between JOMA and Tiamzon:
Acting CPP-NPA Chair Benito Tiamzon is plotting to convene another “regodon” amongst the Communist higher-ups.
As sourced, this involves severing ties with Chairman-in-absentia Jose Maria “Joma” Sison, who had been in asylum in the Netherlands for over 22 years.
The plan to unseat Sison was culminated when Tiamzon felt threatened by the move to set aside the armed offensive to give-way for Sison loyalists’ plan to get elected this coming 2010 election.
Infiltrating the government’s inner core with the use of cadres guised as progressive leaders caused a stir on battle-ready Reds like Tiamzon who fears of being casted aside.
Tiamzon served Sison like a 24/7 “canine” hoping that one day he assumes the Communist throne. With Satur Ocampo getting much favors from Joma after having been his former wing-man inside the Southern Tagalog Regional Party Committee, Tiamzon could not rule-out the possibility he was being taken out of the picture.
In order for Ocampo to win much votes, the NPA led by Tiamzon needs to be “emasculated”. They were ordered to stand-back and abandon their posts.
Ocampo is unfit to fill the shoes of Tiamzon. He was too sucked-up in politics that his allegiance to the CPP-NPA is at question. The progressive leader dubiously going over the pursuit of his own political career.
With the help of Tiamzon loyalists in Southern Tagalog ang Western Visayas, the hunt for Joma sympathizers in Mindanao and Northern Luzon is on.
The plan was simple, demoralize the Joma believers and raise favorable cadres on Wilma (Benito’s Party wife) to ascend the Chairmanship.
This way, the Tiamzon couple could enjoy their fair share of the CPP-NPA “autocracy”, like a “worth the wait” pay-off after serving as Sison’s moppet for more than two decades.
Surfacing NPA Defectors:
The Tiamzon-led hound on former Southern Mindanao Regional Committee (SMRC) leader-Leoncio Pitao in Davao City for his allegiance to Sison alarmed a handful of cadres.
Primarily. Pitao was a lab rat used to magnify the extent of Tiamzon’s all-out war against Sison sympathizers.
But other than “forcing” cadres to embrace Tiamzon and ditch Sison, a handful of them defected from the CPP-NPA command.
The so-called “defectors” have had enough of the higher-ups bickering. They would not wait to die on either Sison or Tiamzon’s hands.
In fact, the “defectors” believed that their best chances of survival are going against both Sison and Tiamzon.
Like the “rejectionist” faction identified as the Alex Boncayao Brigade led by Arturo Tabara and Romulo Kintanar, the 2009 NPA defectors make-use of urban warfare and even getting themselves associated on terrorist acts.
The NPA defectors wanted to make a statement on the CPP-NPA leadership through conducts of indiscriminate atrocities to include bombing operations in key districts.
Blast in the Ombudsman as well as last Sunday’s near Cotabato Cathedral explosion were all part of the NPA “defectors” show of force. It was fitting since it could be readily guised as part of the Oplan August Moon coup and even that of MILF-SOG retaliatory attacks after all-out government offensives in Maguindanao.
The “defectors” do not wish to deface the Communist Party except for its leadership. Letting the public know the split-up in the CPP-NPA would demoralize the revolutionary cause altogether.
Thus, putting the blames on “usual suspects” serves best to keep the controversial Tiamzon’s “regodon” upshots.
Other than the established MILF BIAFs, guerilla fronts of the CPP-NPA under Far Southern Mindanao region (FSMR) are strategic post machinated to carry-out the bombings in Cotabato City.
So far defectors from the NPA were rooting under FSMR, SMRC, NEMRC (North-Eastern Mindanao Regional Committee) and a portion of the Metro Manila Regional Party Committee (MMRPC).

ANOTHER COMMUNIST BREAKAWAY: OUT TO TAKE EXTREME MEASURES (“IED in DOJ and DA linked on CPP-NPA”)
The cold war between Communist Party of the Philippines Chairman-in-absentia Jose Maria “Joma” Sison and its acting-Chair Benito Tiamzon stirred dissenters among Central Luzon and Mindanao cadres. Benito was rumored eyeing the Chairmanship vacated by Joma as the latter cowardly seek asylum in the Netherlands. Furthermore, Benito was to share the Communist throne with wife-Wilma who was hailed as the CPP-NPA’s Imelda Marcos. As the two Leftist stalwarts battle it out for the Chairmanship, the CPP-NPA is running on a broken chain of command.
Logistics across Southern Mindanao Regional Commands have depleted in less than six months following the renegade status of its major players-Leoncio Pitao alias Kumander Parago and its Finance leader-Catherine Guino-o Cacdac. The Joma-influenced south is said to be in the mercy of the Tiamzon couples who is battling Sison’s ouster in the CPP Central Committee. The need to alienate the guerilla fronts in Mindanao is the Tiamzon couple’s way of severing Joma’s clout in the south. By the looks of it, Tiamzon calls the shot of who gets to be feed among the Left. Joma is a mere figure head. Sison’s influence remains a threat to the Tiamzon’s ascendancy to the throne but the pull of power concentrates nonetheless on the will of the self-imposed CPP-NPA Chair-Tiamzon.
On the other hand, the cadres in Greater Manila and South-Central Luzon who remained loyal to the CPP-founder Joma were themselves estranged under Tiamzon’s rule. They were placed on the bottom of the Leftists food and cash chain. The cadres were engineered to machinate political ambitions of Tiamzon-raised progressive leaders. Like emasculated men, the cadres in Luzon who were made to live under the doctrine of Mao-Tse-Tung thought had to swallow democratic exploitations and give-up their armed campaign. Like stringed moppets, the cadres in Luzon were forced by the Tiamzon to serve the favor of Bayan Muna’s Satur Ocampo and Teddy Casiño. Misled that the move to support Ocampo and Casiño are as advised by Sison, the cadres vowed allegiance to the supposed 2010 resurrection of CPP-NPA’s venture in mainstream politics. But as all deceit gets revealed, the cadres in Luzon are now taking extreme tactics to resuscitate the dying Mao-Lenin-Marx ideology.
The blast in the DOJ as well as the IED found in the DA were supposedly part of this contingency measures. The going back to the basics of armed resolved had to be in place. These cadres are determined to pull Communist idealists back to their roots. The legal arena does not work well with the revolution, Joma and the Tiamzons are well aware of it, but unfortunately their selfish ambitions come in the way. The DOJ and DA were deemed potent lab rats to test fire the CPP-NPA hierarchy’s reorientation to the armed struggle.
Evidently, the rumored August Moon was a fitting cover used by the CPP-NPA dissenters to turn the table of blames around. Like the façade used in the Plaza Miranda Bombings, the stir of instability to the reactionary administration is just the needed escape goat of the CPP-NPA to hide its own set of coup d’état and power struggle.

PUTTING A STOP ON NPA’s INDISCRIMINATE KILLINGS
For the past two weeks the Communist Party of the Philippines and the New People’s Army abducted and killed one unarmed soldier; his corpse was later found lying across a provincial road with traces of torture. Ssgt Rollin Maglangit under the 36IB was captured in a CPP-NPA controlled check-point in Km 33, New Visayas, Langkilaan, Trento, Agusan del Sur. About a hundred of Reds army under the PBC-5 Southern Mindanao Regional Command (SMRC) caught-up on Rollin, whose corpse was discovered May 23rd.
Man Hunt or Death Chase?
About one hundred battle-ready rebels disarmed and nabbed Ssgt Maglangit early morning of May 22nd while on his way home. Taking-in prisoners during legit operations are reasonable. But indiscriminate singling-out of soldiers while they are off duty not to mention the premeditated torture and killing are deemed illogically and criminally aligned. This proves that Communist machinations evolve coward and dastard acts of felony. Stabbing the enemy at its back seems the only potent weapon of the CPP-NPA-NDF.
Disgustingly, NPA-SMRC claims that Maglangit’s death was reasonable. In fact, the NPA was trying to portray a “mad-man” who resisted against a hundred of armed opponents. Maglangit was not delusional to think that he could out-win such a ratio. He was kept in an NPA-concentrated camp; inducing a confrontation where he sure is outnumbered was obviously not part of his sane move. The NPA claiming Maglangit run-off at about a distance from his pursuing captures where he was eventually shot to death was by far a blatant made-up scenario.
There was not a chase. Else, there was a death hunt. Maglangit was made into a living target for the Reds to practice their aims at. The NPA made mercilessly killed an unarmed man to avenge about a dozen of their comrades killed and wounded during the open-offensive in COMVAL for the past months. Maglangit’s death was a trophy for the narrow-minded Communist idealist. And that leaving his lifeless body behind was the apex of the CPP-NPA’s showing-off.
Vulnerability to Communist Threat
The CPP-NPA was in no authority to establish and man checkpoints in the land where democracy overrules Communism. Civilian vehicles held in these posts that were either extorted or threatened were by far evidence of how the CPP-NPA suppresses human rights. Where does their acclaimed mantra of freeing the people of injustice fit in this picture? The leftist liberators were nothing less than the very suppressors the people are up against.
We hear militants crying-out for demilitarization? Has it crossed their minds that demilitarizing our lands mean giving-in to the CPP-NPA mandate? This would give them the opportunity to exploit our countryside, establish shadow jurisdiction and worse play demi gods and subject civilians to further pillage. This is outrightly arming ruthless criminals and openhandedly condoning their crimes. Abuse is but the only ideology the CPP-NPA does not fail to commit. For one, it was not such an issue for them to decapitate one of their own; remembering the 1980-1990 purging or cleansing operation of the CPP that turned a huge part of Samar and Bukidnon into dreaded killing fields.
The presence of about 163 guerilla fronts across the country posed a threat to the core of democratic freedom. Having recruits ages 8 to 80 and practically grooming them for battle in hopes to have Jose Maria Sison or Benito Tiamzon to come into power is nonetheless tyranny and deceit playing a major rule for greed to rule. About 5 out of 10 civilians are made vulnerable to Communist intimidation; the other half was later deduced as collateral damages. That is, as civilians served no less than their effective shield against pursuing government troops.
This year alone, about 40 liquidations were carried-out by the CPP-NPA not to include the series of landmining in the provinces of Rizal and the Bicol region. Landmining was ruled illegal in the Geneva conventions since this not only poses direct threat to civilians but is an act of treachery. However, the CPP-NPA bearing their clear disregard for the said engagement had by far violated said rule over and again. Their persistent claim of taking-over in whatever cost and consequence made them the criminal and menace that they are now. Other than gangsterism, the CPP-NPA is quickly developing into a mafia magnate where its extorted multi-millions or “protection racket schemes” bought several mansions and assets under the name of its leadership.
The CPP-NPA minding their abusive nature as discussed has no doubt actuated the murder of Ssgt Maglangit. To this, they should face trial and be held accountable.
